Brian Reilly is the Marketing & Sales Director for Medical Implants at NuSil Technology LLC.

Brian received his BS in Biological Sciences from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo before being hired by NuSil, where he has worked for over 15 years. Brian began this career in the R&D department formulating and developing silicone Elastomers and adhesives. From there, he moved into his current role in Marketing & Sales.


Mr. Ravi Shankar Shrivastava - Chairman & MD, Invent Bio-Med Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai

Mr. Ravi Shankar Srivastava is Chairman and Managing Director of Invent Bio-med Pvt. Ltd., an ISO 9001 - 2008 Company manufacturer of Cardiovascular Device specially diagnostic Angiography and Angioplasty material including coronary stent, Drug coated stent and Working on New Innovation of vascular devices like Retrieval device, Perfusion catheter, Distal protection device, Thrombolytic catheter, Bioabsorbable stent etc.

He has done B.sc (Hons) Diploma in Business development, certificate on Biotechnology from SIS Institute, Government of India. After that, he completed his MBA in Marketing.

Mr. Srivastava has attended workshop on medical device regulation, (CDSC – Central drug standard Control Organization), Directorate general of health services) ministry of health and family welfare.


Mr. Manoj Bhardwaj - Managing Director - SMC Manufacturing Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore

Mr. Manoj Bhardwaj is a Polymer Engineer with over three decades experience in Manufacturing, Consulting and IT sectors.

He has hands on experience in compounding of polymers, alloys and blends as well as downstream polymer processing operations like extrusion, injection molding, welding, machining, printing, decoration, etc. He also has experience in manufacture of extrusion and injection molding machines, product design, mold design and mold making.

Besides polymer science, his background includes business strategy consulting, business process consulting, supply chain and logistics, new product introduction, lean manufacturing, program management as well as IT/ ITeS consulting, infrastructure and services.

Ms. Divya Ganapathy - Technical Consultant (Medical Device Regulatory Affairs), UL India Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore

Ms. Divya Ganapathy has been worked in UL with nine years of experience in Regulatory Affairs. She holds a Master’s Degree in Microbiology and Bachelor’s Degree in Regulatory Affairs. She is specialized in US FDA 510(K), CE Marking for
Europe, Risk Management, Preclinical & Clinical studies, Biological and Clinical Evaluation support for Medical Device and IVDs. She is certified lead auditor for ISO 13485 (2013), trained in conducting FDA Mock Audit, lately trained in Packaging and Biocompatibility studies for Medical Devices at Ochsenhausen, Germany. Prior to UL, she has worked in Pharmaceutical Industries exclusively into Regulatory Affairs and Quality Management systems. She was a part of the drug development team at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratory involved in complete product development for Diabetes and Cardiovascular diseases.


Dr. T. S. Kumaravel - Founder Chairman - GLR Laboratories Pvt. Ltd., Chennai

Dr. Kumaravel is American Board certified and UK/Eurotox Registered Toxicologist with more than 20 years experience in industry as well as in academia. He is a pioneer in conducting Biological Safety Assessments and Biocompatibility studies on Medical Devices. Dr. Kumaravel obtained his Bachelor's degree in Medicine and Surgery from Stanley Medical College, Doctoral degree in Pharmacology/Toxicology from University of Madras and finally obtained PhD in Genetic Toxicology/Cancer Genetics from MGR Medical University, Chennai. He then carried out toxicology research at Hiroshima University, Japan; National Institutes of Health, USA and Princess Margaret Hospital, Canada. Subsequently, he has worked with world leading contract research companies such as Covance Laboratories and Huntingdon Life Sciences, where he worked with various international medical devices clients. He has extensive experience running and supervising Biocompatibility studies, advising clients on their requirements to comply with national and international guidelines such as ISO10993. Additionally, he has experience of managing regulatory submissions. He has authored several confidential reports, 40 peer-reviewed publications and has 50+ conference papers to his name.


Dr. V. K. Tikku - Technical Advisor - Apar Industries Ltd., Valsad

V K Tikku passed his masters in 1968 from Punjab University, Chandigarh in Physics and got his Ph.D. in Nuclear Physics from Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, Calcutta in 1975.

He spent six years as visiting scientist in USA & Canada. In USA, at State University of New York, Albany, he worked on total Neutron Cross-section using high energy Linear Electron Accelerator at Oak-ridge National Lab, USA. Subsequently, he worked in materials modifications to form new alloys using ion implantation and Rutherford back scattering techniques both at Albany, New York and at McMaster University, Ontario Canada.

He joined Nicco in 1983 as Manager - research & development in electrical wires and cables with responsibility on design & product development, inspection and testing, quality assurance, technical services to the customers and technology Upgradation.

He was responsible for bringing the first high power industrial electron accelerator to India for wire and cable and other non-cable applications with R & D support from Bhabha Atomic Research Centre and IIT, Kharagpur, Rubber Technology Centre in the year 2002 at Nicco, Kolkata. In 2006-07, he designed and commissioned the second electron accelerator facility in Pondicherry.

He worked from 2007-2009 as president (operations) and looked after the technological upgradation & operations of the plant in the Cords Cable Industries Ltd, Bhiwadi.

In 2013, he commissioned two more electron accelerators at Apar Industries Ltd. Unit Uniflex Cables, Khatalwada, Gujrat, out of total four such commercial facilities at present operational in India, three were designed and installed under his guidance.

He is a registered lead assessor in ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 and has audited more than 100 organisations for the quality & environment management systems besides implementing it in the whole of Nicco group.

He was a board member of the Board of Research in Isotope Technology and is a Visiting Faculty of IIT, Kharagpur.

He has published more than 100 papers in various national and international journals.
