Dr. Jugal Parekh

Dr. Jugal Parekh is one of
the founding directors of J. J. Design Innovations (JJD).
The firm, with offices in the UK, UAE, and India, is a
medical device design and healthcare services
consultancy. Dr. Jugal has gained experience in total
design approach, orthopaedic implants and instruments
for minimally invasive surgery. He is also well versed
with BS and ISO standards, and designing medical
devices to adhere to FDA and MDD regulations. His
interests branch out to current affairs, business &
finance, gadgets and technology. Dr. Jugal holds a
doctorate in Bio-Medical Engineering from the
University of Birmingham in the UK. He also graduated
with an Honor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from
the UK. Prior to which, he has completed his education
in Singapore and India.

National Institutes / Industry in India & Abroad,
beginning from Innovation in S&T domains to
Manufacturing JVs & successful emerging market
ventures in Bio and Electro medicals in Cardiology /
Cardiac surgery / Airway management / Blood
Transfusion. He stands for the IPR of Patents and
Product developments in Cardiac & Neuro Implants,
Defibrillation, Cardiopulmonary bypass and Auto
transfusion.
Mr.
Kumar has been awarded by Invention Award from Crisil,
Medicall, Technology Innovation Award from Mins of
Fertilisers and Chemicals, National level Invention
award from Min of S&T, India, National level award
from Biomaterials Society, Fellow title in
Association of Biomedical Scientists and many more.

Jain did his BSC from Allahabad University in 1960.He
joined the Rubber Industry in 1965 and is having a
vast experience of 50 years in manufacturing of Rubber
components for Medical & Pharmaceutical, Automobile,
Defence, Sports & other industrial segments. During
his long career his special focus has been on
indegenisation of Rubber components being used in
Medical & Automobile sector.
Currently he is the Managing Director of Jain Rubbers
Private Limited which is a leading name for supply of
Rubber components to Medical Disposable Industry.

Casting & Forging Clusters, and several other
engineering clusters. His responsibility also includes
saving energy in engineering sector.

Nishad Dhurandhar was born in Mumbai and after his

Moines, Iowa for three years.
He
joined MICROTROL STERILISATION SERVICES PVT. LTD.- a
Sterilisation Services Company in 2007 as Executive –
Business Development. MICROTROL provides Gamma
Radiation and Ethylene oxide (EtO) Sterilisation &
bio-burden reduction services to the Medical Devices,
Healthcare, Food, Cosmetics Neutraceuticals, and
similar industries. Besides Business Development, he
has been exposed to various other cross functions of
the Company on technical and commercial aspects. He is
also a Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001:2000 & ISO
13485:2003 and attends to vendor and customer audits.

Rubber Compounds for various Brake Sealing

to joining Dow Corning, he was associated with Garware
Elastomerics Limited, Pune, India as Manager R&D and
‘Customer Support’ with responsibility of new Product
Development, related Process Stabilization as integral
part of customer support activity.
