Dr. S. Eswara Reddy is the
Deputy Drugs Controller Of India, Central Drugs
Standard Control Organisation, Ministry of Health &
Family Welfare, Govt. of India. He holds a Masters
Degree in Pharmacy and Ph.D. and has rich experience
in manufacturing of pharmaceuticals, academic and in
Regulations.
He
started his career as a Drugs Inspector in CDSCO, West
Zone, Mumbai in 1998 and has good experience in GMP,
GCP and GLP audits and promoted as an Assistant Drugs
Controller of India in 2009.
He
participated in many national and international
seminars / workshops / meetings on various areas of
Drugs regulations and undergone training from USFDA,
KFDA, South Korea and WHO, Geneva. He is regularly
invited to make presentations at various seminars and
workshops. He also published articles in various
journals.

Dr. H.G.
Koshia is currently Commissioner, Food & Drugs Control
Administration, Gujarat and his key Responsibilities
are Enforcement of “Drugs & Cosmetic Act, 1940 and
Rules” & Enforcement of “Food Safety & Standard Act,
2006” and rules, in Gujarat State.
He is
actively representing nine national and state level
committees. He is Chairman of the very important
committee “Track & Trace”, for preparation of
guidelines to prevent of menace of spurious drugs.
He has
played a pivotal role in transformation of pharma and
medical devices sectors in Gujarat to emerge as a
favorable investment destination with proactive &
pragmatic approaches. He was instrumental in the
implementation of e-governance in FDCA and is winner
of one state level and three national level awards.

Dr.
Jitendar Kumar Sharma is Head of Healthcare Technology
Division and Director of WHO Collaborating Centre for
Priority Medical Devices & Health Technology Policy,
at National Health Systems Resource Center, the
technical support institution under Ministry of Health
& Family Welfare, Government of India. He is also
Adviser (Health & Medical Technology) to the Hon’ble
Chief Minister, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh. He earlier
served at Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical
Sciences, later as consultant to World Bank and then
as Consultant to the World Health Organization,
Geneva. He is Clinical Faculty at University of
Adelaide, Australia and program director for Health
Technology Assessment (HTA) fellowships in India. He
has been an adviser at Health Technology Innovation
Centre, IIT Madras and serves as faculty for National
Accreditation Board for Hospitals (NABH) in India for
Medical Devices. He has contributed through several
research papers, seven books on health technologies &
assessments, six compendiums on technical
specifications for medical technologies and has been
contributor to several reports on health technologies
by International agencies including WHO. He is a key
coordinator of several health technology programs in
India and a faculty for courses on health technology
policy & assessment in several countries.

Shri B.
Sarkar had joined EEPC India in 2001, as Joint
Director (Finance & Accounts) in the Head Office of
EEPC India in Kolkata. Being a professionally
qualified Chartered Accountant and having prior audit
experience in various audit firms, Shri sarkar’s
advent to EEPC India as above was quite justifiable.
In his
professional journey, in EEPC India, Shri Sarkar was
first elevated to the post of Director (Budget &
Finance) in 2004 and posted to one of the premier
offices of EEPC India in Mumbai for solving various
administrative problems as well as looking after the
large section of members of EEPC India in Western
Region. He has wide experience in handling various
policy issues and important high level administrative
tasks. He proved himself to be very capable and,
subsequently, he was elevated to the position of Addl.
Executive Director & Secretary of EEPC India in 2007.
With the passage of time, it was an important
milestone in his career, as it marked the beginning of
13 years of professional excellence that eventually
led him to crown the highest Executive Post as the
Executive Director of EEPC w.e.f. 1st December, 2012.
He is also concurrently holding the post of the
Secretary of the Council. Shri Sarkar has been
instrumental in organising various promotional events
in India and abroad. He has widely traveled to
countries like Brazil, Venezuela, Turkey, Germany,
South Africa, Egypt, Thailand, Bangladesh, Thailand,
Czech Republic etc. EEPC India still has the highest
membership and is a highest foreign exchange earner of
the country that possibly a Council can boast of.
Shri
Sarkar is a true music lover and is fond of reading
various books. He also loves traveling. All these
habits perhaps keep him going in spite of all the
constraints and rigors that his present position
demands.
