BENGALURU, India, 6 December
2022. Carclo Technical Plastics Pvt Ltd (CTP) announces
that it has been awarded a National Corporate Social
Responsibility (CSR) Award by the Shikar Organisation for
Social Development in India.
At a ceremony in New Delhi on
17 November, during the 10th National CSR Summit – 2022,
Carclo’s Bangalore operation was recognised for its
exemplary contribution towards sustainability over many
years. Director-India Operations, Mr. Premchand
Pandurangan, accepted the award on the company’s behalf
from Mr Awanish Awasthi, IAS Advisor to CM, Uttar Pradesh
state, where the summit was inaugurated by Mr Krishnan Pal
Gurjar, Union State Minister for Power & Heavy Industries,
Government of India.
Mr Premchand stated “I am
very proud to accept this award and would like to
sincerely thank all the Carclo team members who worked
hard for this wonderful appreciation of Carclo’s CSR
initiatives over the past 10 years. Examples include
investment in improved facilities in local schools,
provision of free face masks during the COVID pandemic to
local healthcare settings and building drinking water &
toilet facilities in local villages.“
CTP’s facility in
Doddaballaur near Bengaluru, Karnataka, is accredited to
ISO 9001 and ISO13485 and conducts contract injection
moulding of plastic components and assembly services for a
range of clients in the medical, LED lighting and
electronic business machine sectors. CTP operates the
latest technology, all-electric injection moulding
machines within both white room and ISO 8 clean room
environments in Bengaluru as it continues to target
medical and industrial customers in the region and
overseas.
