Appeal To Medical Devices & Plastics Industry Professionals

One of the objectives behind initiating publication of this bimonthly magazine before 31 years was to integrate the supply chain for the Indian Medical Device Industry particularly those from the polymers / plastics based Industry. Since the Medical Device Sector is multidisciplinary, our focus is for Plastic based sub-sectors including Medical Disposables, Consumables & Implants.

The Government of India has also now recognised that the “Make in India” mission can only be fostered if there is local availability of raw materials and critical components.

To support this objective and to create platforms for integration between various stake-holders in the Indian Medical Device Industry, we have been organizing techno-commercial conferences ( IMDI Conferences ) along with technology show exhibitions for last 21 years.

The expert presentations made by Industry leaders during these technical events are reproduced in this magazine in the form of articles from time to time. This issue of magazine also includes few such articles.

The contributors include experts from whole line of supply chain industry including basic raw materials, components, machinery, various services including academic and research organizations. We appeal all the professionals and Industry leaders to generously contribute articles and share their knowledge & Experience for the benefit of Indian Medical Device Industry.
